Concept Shipdesign
In this dynamic phase we support our clients with translating their thoughts and ideas in to a realistic Concept Design fit for its purpose.
Together with the practical user experiences from our clients and expertise of our naval architects and engineers we come to a high sustainable concept design. When the concept design is completed we have created a full tender package that can be used for request for quotation towards shipyards.
Basic Shipdesign
Further developing the concept design towards a basic design results in an engineering package that can be offered towards the concerning class society for approval.
In this phase our engineers will already develop a 3D model from where class information can be extracted allowing us to have a head start with the detailed design phase.

Detail Engineering
Detail engineering is the backbone of our organization, all experience, knowledge and best practice are implemented in our system. Like no other we realize that the quality of detail engineering is an important factor in the shipyard’s ability to build vessels efficient, cost-effective and fast.
Working in close contact with our clients ensures easy alterations, build friendly solutions and top quality engineering in line with shipyard norms and standards throughout the whole process.
Machinery / piping
During the build of a vessel the piping installation as well as outfitting are in close cooperation with the steel production. This is the same during the detail design stage where the hull department and machinery piping department are closely working together in the same model real time. The machinery department and outfitting department continuously receive an updated model from the steel department saving both time and ensuring that the overall design process evolves efficiently.
Interior Design
A vessels interior will have great influence on the level of comfort experienced by the crew. The often limited spaces available require maximum creativity and ingenuity from our interior designers in order to deliver aesthetic and practical developed accommodation areas. Besides aesthetics and comfort the interior needs to meet the highest safety standards according to the latest safety regulations. We assure you that our interior designers have many years of experience knowing the latest regulations and understanding what our clients and partners look for.
Conversions and Modifications
Ship conversions and modifications are frequently requested by our clients and partners. Over the years we have been involved in numerous of different projects concerning different ship types such as passenger vessels, roro vessels, container vessels and more. Especially concerning conversions and modifications practical shipbuilding knowledge is crucial in order to be able to advise our clients and partners about how to work as effective as possible.
3D visualizations
We offer the possibility to convert your 2D image in to a Photorealistic visualization, making it much more easy to review certain areas for example. We provide accurate 3D photorealistic renderings of interiors and exteriors , animations, flythrough and interactive 360° panoramas of the highest quality can be delivered.
The process begins by creating a 3D model of the concerned area or ship. After modelling light, materials and any features that enhance the realism and detail of the images are applied. All features and details are discussed with our clients and preview images are supplied for feedback before we render the final images. Interior images can be customized to an exact match of the furnishings and decorations that will be installed on the vessel.

Developing and building new vessels can be a challenge for any shipyard, ship-owner or ship design company. Therefore it could be of added value when additional expertise can be hired through the support of our team members. We are ready to deliver onsite support on all disciplines however in some occasions clients more appreciate to join our design team in one of our two offices. Our staff of engineers are well trained and used to work in an international environment closely together with shipyards and owners all around the world.
