This vessel was developed as a case study for the oil market in the USA. The feasibility research showed that the vessel can be outfitted with a conventional diesel/electric system at the time of build and later be upgraded to green methanol propulsion system. To that end, green methanol can be stored in the cofferdams onboard. Powerful Dp3 to be able to keep position also in waters with high currents. Shoal draft to enter shallow draft harbor areas.
